The Pentax K-x is easy to use for first time DLSR users and for those less serious, but still offers the high quality images as well as eye-catching colors.

At 12.4- megapixels, the Pentax K-x offers class leading image resolution coupled with the widest ISO range and fastest shooting rate of all the leading brands. The Pentax K-x also is one of the few DSLRs to come with Shake reduction, or Image Stabilization, that works on all lenses on the Pentax.

These impressive specifications might not mean much to novice DSLR users they will appreciate the features designed to make creating great images simple and fun.

Colors

The K-x makes an immediate impression because as well as basic black it comes in white and for even more variety there are limited numbers available in red and navy. Of course the standard 18-55mm kit lens is color coordinated.

HD Movie Mode

This is just as fashionable as matching colors this season so of course the Pentax K-x can record high definition video as well as still images.

The Pentax K-x includes a new cross process mode that simulates the unusual effects of processing photographic film in chemicals meant for a different type of film.

The Pentax K-x offers High Dynamic Range (HDR) image capture that blends three bracketed images into a single picture with outstanding shadow, highlight, and midrange detail in the camera.
